About Scott Stearns

Scott and his wife Lori looked at over 90 homes before they bought their first house in 1997. From that experience, he knew he had found his lifelong profession, real estate. Scott earned his Broker Associate license in 1998 and went on to get his Broker license in 2010. Now, with 25 years of real estate experience under his belt, Scott is joining The Move Group real estate team as the designated broker serving the Sioux Falls market.

Although being born in Rapid City, Scott has called Sioux Falls his home for most of his life. He has been married to his wife, Lori, for over 30 years and they have 3 beautiful (and very active) children. When Scott and his wife aren’t at their children’s school/sporting activities, you can find them exploring new restaurants, entertaining with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors or cheering on their favorite sport teams – Nebraska Huskers, Duke basketball and the Denver Broncos.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Scott’s story didn’t start in real estate. Prior to becoming an agent, Scott worked in the banking/finance industry. There’s no doubt that this background has served him, and his clients, very well as he takes great pride in supporting his clients throughout the entire real estate process.
